Regional web design

Web design forRhine-Main &Rhine-Neckar.

Custom websites for self-employed people and small businesses across Rhine-Main, Rhine-Neckar, and the Bergstrasse region. Hand-built, not assembled from a site builder.

Who it is for

Who usually gets in touch.

Not corporations with tender processes, but businesses where the website has a concrete job: to be found and to bring inquiries.

Self-employed people
A website that explains what you do and brings in inquiries — without a monthly site-builder fee.
Trades & services
Be reachable when someone searches nearby on their phone. Phone number and inquiry are always close at hand.
Small businesses
A presence that fits the business instead of the template — and can be expanded later without starting over.
Existing websites
Bring an aging site up to a technical and visual standard that can be worked with again.

Collaboration

What regional proximity means in practice.

SHMT is based in Lorsch, between Rhine-Main, Rhine-Neckar, and the Bergstrasse region. Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Heidelberg, and the towns in between are well connected — without every project needing an in-person appointment.

Most of a project happens in writing anyway: collecting content, reviewing drafts, giving feedback. Email, phone, or video calls are often faster than finding appointment slots — and they keep the effort low instead of letting it land in the offer.

If a meeting still helps, it is possible. It is not necessary for most projects — pleasant sometimes, especially for the first conversation or when content is easier to understand on site.

What proximity really brings: the same time zone, short paths for questions, and a sense for how people search in the region. A business in Rhine-Main, Rhine-Neckar, or along the Bergstrasse does not need artificial agency size, but a website that explains clearly and makes inquiries reliable.

Services

What we are most often asked to build.

  • 01Websites & landing pagesA new website for your business — shaped around your content, not around a finished template.
  • 02Website modernizationModernize an existing website without starting everything from scratch.

  • 04Digital solutionsCalculators, forms, and small tools that save time in everyday work.

Ownership

Your website stays yours.

Domain and hosting can run directly in your name. That way you keep control at all times and are not permanently tied to SHMT.

Work samples

What it can look like.

Four complete demo websites across different industries. The companies are fictional and marked as demos — the work behind them is real. View all projects.

    Spatial and real-time
